Marcel is a tax partner with EY’s MENA practice based in Doha, Qatar. He joined EY in 1991, and has been a Partner since 2003. He is heading the International and Transaction Tax Practice in Qatar Previous to his move to Qatar in 2012, Marcel was a Tax Partner in the Netherlands. Marcel holds a Master degree in Tax Law from the university of Leiden (1991) and is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers.

  • Marcel has 25 years of experience in both national and international tax advice;
  • Marcel has been involved in some of the most prominent outbound M&A transactions and cross-border tax structuring projects for Middle East clients, including multinationals, sovereign wealth funds, UHNWIs;

Rashid Al Saad was previously General Counsel at Qatari Diar and Qatar Rail. His experience covers all areas of Construction, Hotels, Arbitration & Litigation,Transactions, Estate, Corporate as well as Project Finance.

  • Advising on international real estate transactions, finance and acquisitions; establishing policies and procedures for Qatari Diar board and corporate; advising on the assignment of bidders for the main contracts of value USD 23 billion.

Frank Lucente is a Partner in the Corporate Commercial practice of the Qatar office having previously worked in this field in Australia, Asia and the Middle East for over 25 years.
